Conclusion

After collecting information using Google Search, IUPUI Databases, EBSCO and Proquest and conducting a qualitative analysis of the websites of the USA-based small animal rescues, our team had analyzed the data. The recommendations that our team had come up with were created to address the challenges the rescue faces. In order to optimize the work of Camp Cavy and to increase awareness in the community, we recommend:

Using volunteers in different areas, from cages cleaning to writing the website and social media posts
Collaboration with other organizations, from Petco and Amazon Smile to participation in local small animal conventions
Organizing adoption parties, printing rescue photos, and leaving them on the local community board, offering free nail clipping sessions – using different methods that help the audience to get involved.

Our recommendation report may not have addressed every question Camp Cavy Guinea Pig Rescue has due to the broad nature of this report. But we were hoping to give useful guidance and a framework that can help Camp Cavy strengthen the weak areas, and lay the foundation for future, more efficient, work.
